After a few experiments and misleading purchases, I found a rig and setup for my Insta360 One RS Twin Edition Action Cam which fulfills my requirements:

Best Cage / Case for Insta360 One RS

I searched on Google and Amazon for simple and cheap option to add my external microphones like Rode VideoMic Go2, Rode Wireless Go and Sennheiser MKE 400 to my Insta360. As an external Microphone Adaptor I am using the one from Insta360 which connects to a mic via 3,5mm Audio Jack and can charge my Insta360 at same time – or use it with USB cable in Webcam mode. Did I mention that this use case is not possible with GoPro? The cold shoe mount was out of stock, so I searched for another cage which is solid and high quality. Metal would be preferred. SmallRig and Ulanzi only offer cages for Insta360 One R, so I finally found this one on Amazon by Linghuang

Best Tripod for Insta360 OneRS Twin Edition?

Let\’s start a discussion here on which tripod you are using next to the Selfie Stick by Insta360 which you might also own! I am also using a very large 3m extended Selfie Stick by Telesin. I like to combine my normal-sized Insta360 Selfie Stick with a Joby Tripod, very easy way to attach the camera to nearly any object. Nevertheless the small Joby GorillaPod 325 is not stable enough when using Insta360 One RS together with an external microphone and a LED lamp. Nebula Capsule Tripod (100% metal) is an excellent choice, very stable and robust. This tripod can withstand up to 5 kg and ball head mount provides super easy 360° rotation and tilt angle for up to 180°. Always the perfect angle.
