In our Video Live Stream about Microsoft Build Conference Alex Eggers and myself talked about announcement of Microsoft Lists.

Lists were also part of our new weekly (Thursday evening 9pm CET) Video Live Stream and I gave a live demo in German.

Now I have published a podcast where I am summarizing my 15 learning about Microsoft Lists (including Teams Integration) in less than 5 minutes.

  1. Great post Ragnar!

    Question about MS Lists ???

Can we use Microsoft Lists across Site Collections and Hubs?

I am currently using the Term Store for some metadata columns on content types and lists.

Can we use Lists across the site collections in our tenant to act as a Lookup for company-wide metadata?

    Example:

    /sites/Site1/lists/mylist1 – column: LookupList/Title

    /sites/Site2/lists/mylist2 – column: LookupList/Title

    MS Lists – LookupList/Title

    • Microsoft Lists are still Lists, so to achieve what you want take a look at the Content type gallery under Content services in the SPO Admin Center
