How to use neat board in byod mode
Usually I am running Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) on Neat board 50. Thanks to new beta, I can turn on “BYOD – Bring your own device” mode and attach my Laptops. I planned to record a video but it is so easy that I can summarize it in few words.
Why would you run Microsoft Teams on a large Touch Display in BYOD? 💡
You can literally display all Apps on your Laptop/PC/Mac to this screen and have flexibility. My wife called her parents on WhatsApp using Neat Cameras, Microphones and Loudspeakers which are embedded into neat board. neat supports Microsoft Teams Zoom but if you need to make hashtag#Webex, Google Meet or Skype Calls – this could be a valueable option for you.
In case your company does not offer you MTR license, BYOD can also be your friend.
How to setup BYOD with neat board? 💡
I did a reset, enrolled board again in neat pulse, updated to latest firmware, selected “BYOD Beta” and attached a USB-C cable which is not a pure charging cable. Just a few minutes. Check my Blogpost for cable recommendation
