3 months with Jabra Elite 75t In-Ear Buds. New Best in Class?
Since End of January 2020 I am using the Jabra Elite 75t in all different kind of usage scenarios:
- Conference Audio-and Video Calls with Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom
- 1:1 Phone Calls
- Listening to music
- Podcasts, eBooks and educational content
- Sports like running and gym
I have also used their predecessor Jabra Elite 65t a lot in the past, so let`s find out why you might consider an upgrade or directly purchase Elite 75t. Spoiler alert: Battery life has improved from 10 hours to 28h (including charging case). But let`s first start with official specifications:

Voice Samples
I have seen improvements between Elite 65t and 75t regarding voice and microphone quality. The extra microphone seems to pay off. A sidetone feature allows you hear your own voice in the earphones, most other in-ear buds don`t offer it.

Nevertheless I haven`t much noise reducation in windy environments (and I have tested them in very windy environment on top of Enchanted Rocks, Texas:
Summary
Charging case is now a bit smaller and can be charged with USB-C cable and what I really like is that they fit well in my small 5th pocket of my Jeans. Case design with magnets inside makes it easier to open and close and to keep the buds inside. Battery Life has improved signifcantly and they are leading now, close to be best-in-class. My favorite for battery life is Cambridge Audio Melomania 1 with 45h but their voice quality and mics are below average
Jabra`s new In-Ear Buds are bit smaller than the Elite 65t and more comfortable, never felt pressure or had issue with falling out of my ears.
Bluetooth pairing and connections works very reliable and stable and I enjoy to have connections to 2 devices at same time like my tablet and Smartphone.
With new large multi-functional button on each earbud to control play/pause, volume, skipping tracks and active voice assistants 75t are easier to use than their predecessors but you need to learn how it works, it is not intuitive.
Sound quality has also improved. Jabra has listened to lots of feedback about weak bass and now I can hear stronger punch and loudness has also increased. Seal is much better, that can be the reason.
Voice and microphone quality is a bit clearer compared to 65t but not a quantum leap. Make sure to update to latest firmware, I have seen improvements here last 2 months. Wind noise reducation is still far from being perfect.
Overall I can summarize that Jabra Elite 75t contain lots of different improvements like battery life, size, stronger bass, USB-C charging. Elite 75t are splashproof and offers some dust resistance. So if you don`t miss wireless charging or active noise canceling, then they get my full recommendation.
what’s your opinion on melomania 1 and jabra 75t? Still dont know which one to choose.
Thank you.
oh, that`s an easy question. Jabra75t offer so much better voice, mic and calling quality. So if you don`t mind paying few bucks more, then dont wait any longer.
Hey man, what is your experience with Jabra Elite 75t or Elite Active 75t if you had and pairing with a Windows 10 laptop. Is it working fine? I would like to use them for Webex and Teams calls.
I never had issues with pairing together with Windows 10, works very reliable. I prefer other headsets for Teams/Webex Calls. In-Ear Buds dont offer best microphone quality. But they are very comfortable when I am “on the run” / outdoors/ gym/traveling. Jabra Evolve 2 65 is much better for video calls at your desk
