Performance Tests of Internet Explorer 9

Yesterday in the MIX10-conference the Technical Preview of Internet Explorer 9 was released.
You can also test the new Browser. It is not a complete browser, many functions are missing but great to test HTML5 and the new Javascript Engine:

I was testing with the SunSpider Javascript Benchmark

here are the results which show that IE9 is more than 6 times faster than IE8. It is faster than Firefox 3.5 and Opera 10.10 (Opera 10.5 and Chrome 4 are a few ms faster)
Internet Explorer 8: 5607.0ms
Internet Explorer 9: 872.8ms
I used my private laptop for testing: Intel i3 Quadcore, 4GB RAM, NVIDIA Geforce 310M 512MB
