What’s new in Microsoft Teams – the Enterprise Connect #EC19 round up

Let me share highlights from Enterprise Connect Conference based on Tech Community Blogpost. I am currently at MVP Summit Redmond, so not joining EC19.

  • New Phones and Communication Devices

    Meetings First (in preview) is a new addition for Enterprise Voice customers who use Skype for Business Servers. It allows customers to protect their investments by continuing to use their servers for Calling and Chat while harnessing Microsoft Teams for cloud-based meetings.

    New Whiteboard Capabilities within Teams
    New Calendar App with new views and many new features
    Custom Background: show everyone in your video call that you are working on the beach instead of your home office
